The First English Culture Festival and Parents" Meeting of Huamei Foreign Language School (Hong Kong Department)

新學期我們踏著春的腳步走來，春天是美好的季節，天氣回暖，萬物復蘇，春代表希望、代表活力！春風有信，花開有期！在這春意盎然的三月，為了豐富校園生活、打造校園文化、提高學生學習英語的興趣和積極性、營造校園外語特色氛圍，我校特舉辦首屆英文歌曲大賽和尋寶活動！

In the new semester we step on the steps of spring. Spring is a beautiful season as the weather is warming and all things are recovering from the cold. Spring represents hope and vitality! The breeze blows and the flowers bloom! On 3rd March, to enrich campus life, build campus culture, enhance students" interest and enthusiasm in learning English and create an atmosphere for learning foreign language, our school holds the first English song contest and scavenger hunt!

為了給學生搭建更好地展示英語才華的舞臺，增強開口講英語的自信和能力，進一步營造濃郁的英語交際氛圍，我們英文組老師為孩子們組織了“尋寶“盛宴！

To offer a stage for students to show their English talent, enhance their confidence to speak in English and create an atmosphere for communication in English, our teachers organize a "scavenger hunt" activity for them!

一大早在圖書館裏，在校園的某個角落裡你會看到一群孩子忙碌的身影。他們在四處尋找著什麼，找到了，開心地聚集在一起，好像還在用英文記錄著什麼。然後又四散開來，繼續搜尋著。孩子們在做什麼呢？在好奇心的驅使下，我走近了孩子們。原來他們在參加英語藝術節之校園尋寶活動。每個班的學生都被分成幾個小組，每個組的孩子手持不同的任務卡，他們要按照任務卡上的提示，去找到被隱藏在各個隱蔽角落的“寶藏”。找到以後，要在任務卡上記錄下寶藏的英文名。最快找齊的小組還可以得到英語科組的獎勵呢！

Early in the morning in the library, in a corner of the campus you will see a group of children busy looking around. When they found what they wanted, they gathered together happily. Then they scattered and continued their search. What were they doing? I approached the children because of curiosity. It turned out that they were taking part in the campus scavenger hunt of the English Day. Students in each class were divided into several groups. Children in each group held different task cards. They had to follow the prompts on the task cards to find the "treasure" hidden in various corners. Once they found, recorded the treasure"s English name on the card. The fastest team could get the prize!

這次的活動吸引了全校各年級的同學的積極參與，孩子們在尋找中體驗了小組團結協作的集體精神和學習英語的無限樂趣！

This activity attracted the active participation of students from all grades. All children experienced the collective spirit of group unity and cooperation and the infinite fun of learning English through the search!

尋寶活動在接近尾聲之時，我們的家長朋友們帶著愛與期待如約而至，有序的簽到進入禮堂！

At the end of the scavenger hunt, our parents arrived with love and expectation as promised. They signed in orderly and entered the auditorium!

当激昂向上的旋律响起，当英语融入音乐，在旋律中感受另一番英语之美，用歌声凝聚每一份执着梦想的力量！看！我們的主持人們已走上舞台！

When the passionate melody sounds, English is integrated into the music, you can feel another beauty of English in the melody, and gather the strength of each persistent dream with the song! Look! Our hosts have taken the stage!

在比賽開始前我們香港部劉啟彬校長對到來的每一位家長朋友表以真摯的問候和熱烈的歡迎！同時也對參賽的班級和學生們傾注期盼！在劉校的鼓励和祝愿下，我们的比赛正式拉开帷幕！

Before the competition started, Mr. Liu Qibin, the principal of our Hong Kong Department, expressed his sincere greetings and warm welcome to every parent. At the same time, I also look forward to participating classes and students! With the encouragement and wishes of Mr. Liu, our competition officially kicked off!

比賽中，同學們精神飽滿，著裝整齊、激情洋溢，自信滿滿，充分展現了華美香港部學子們積極向上的精神面貌。現場觀眾席上掌聲和歡呼聲不斷，非常熱鬧！

In the competition, students dressed neatly and were full of passion and confidence, who fully demonstrated the positive outlook of the students of Hong Kong Department. The audience applauded and cheered up.

全體教職工激情澎湃的演唱也為本次活動增添了炫彩的一筆！各班級的精彩節目，異彩紛呈的表演，將學校的英語特色以舞臺表演的形式演繹給現場的家長朋友們！得到家長朋友們的一致好評和認可！

The enthusiastic singing of all the staff added a dazzling touch to the event! Each class"s wonderful programand performance, which presentthe school"s English characteristics in the form of stage performance to the scene of parents.It gets the praise and recognition of parents!

教育是一場美麗的邂逅，成長是最美好的願景！我們為孩子共赴一場春日的“約會”！這場相遇，關乎孩子，關乎家長更關乎我們之間步調一致、共育花開！在精彩的英文歌曲大賽結束後我們邀請了家長朋友進入班級與班主任暢聊孩子的校園生活與學習！

Education is a beautiful encounter and growth is the best vision! We went on a spring date for our children! This meeting, about children andparents and more about the pace between us! After the wonderful English song contest, we invited parents into the class to chat with the classteacher about their children"s school life and study!

新學期新希望，家校攜手共譜新篇章！所有的美好，不期而遇！我們以愛為底色，秉持一顆教育初心，帶著真誠、帶著憧憬，迎接2023新學年！在教育這條路上，家長和教師是信任與愛的邂逅。此次家長會，增強了家長對孩子在校生活的瞭解，願愛與責任同行，助力每位孩子健康成長,像花兒一樣美麗綻放！

New semesterwithnew hope, the homeandschool hand in hand to write a new chapter! All the good, unexpected encounter! We take love as the background color, uphold a beginner"s mind of education, with sincerityandvision to meet the new school yearin 2023! On the road of education, parents and teachers are the encounter of trust and love. This parents" meeting enhances parents" understanding of their children"s school life.Every child can grow up healthily and bloom like a beautiful flower!
